The Last Digital Checkpoint of a Safe Journey
Solutions for Student Safety and Shuttle Control
In school transport, safety matters not only during the journey but also after the route ends. Recent cases of children being left behind have shown once again how critical in-vehicle check procedures are. Developed for exactly this need, vita QR digitally verifies the end-of-route sweep so the process is completed safely, on record and fully traceable.
Running in-vehicle checks consistently helps not only with student safety, but also with quickly spotting forgotten bags, clothing and personal belongings.
How It Works
Manage Shuttle Operations End to End
Verify end-of-route checks digitally, record them safely and keep them traceable.
01
Physical Check
The check step requires the driver to walk to the rear of the vehicle. Seats, the cabin and the back row are physically inspected, reducing the risk of a child or belonging being left behind.
02
Digital Scan
After dropping students off safely, the driver walks to the very back of the vehicle and starts the end-of-route check using the in-vehicle QR code, NFC tag or PIN field.
03
Confirmation
When the QR scan, NFC verification or PIN entry is completed, the route assignment is closed in the system. The check data is sent to the screen and a completion record is created.
04
Notification
With the completion confirmation, the daily attendance record is written automatically. Parents are also informed that the vehicle was checked, the route was completed safely and the process was verified.

Frequently Asked Questions
Frequently Asked Questions About vita QR
What is vita QR used for?
It is a shuttle safety solution that digitally records the check for whether any student remains in the vehicle at the end of a route. Through QR scanning, NFC verification or mobile confirmation steps the route is completed safely, and the check data is pushed to the operations screen in real time.
How is the shuttle check carried out?
Once the route is complete, the driver or attendant starts the check step in the app. The assignment is closed by scanning the in-vehicle QR code, performing NFC verification or completing the defined security step. The action is recorded in the system and sent to the relevant managers instantly.
Can parents be notified?
Yes. When the shuttle check is completed, parents can be notified via push notification, SMS or in-app message. This lets parents see in real time that the route was completed safely.
What happens if the check is not performed?
If the in-vehicle check is not performed, the driver is warned first by notification and then by voice call. If the process is still not completed, the information is shared with the transport company, the school official and the parents; no daily earning is generated for an unchecked route.
